Interviews

These are some of my experiences attending interviews:

A small company in a big city.
I was interviewed by a woman and I feel good on the conversation going on. It is natural and convincing. But, suddenly she said: ‘Actually, we have another candidate who has experience in property management’. Ekeleh mak cik ni, then why you called me for an interview? I know la I am a freshgrad. But things getting unexpected when she called me one month later. I got the job! And yeah, I like the job :). I was told that the other candidate who get the job cant stand working at the company and just left in one day. Uhuh mak cik, don’t ever judge people by a fake first impression. Look what she has done to you...tettttt.

A bank. Sales position.
It was not my intention to attend the walk in interview. I was supposed to accompany my friend. Hell yeah, she assumed I’m interested and going to join her. So I just follow the flow. Alang-alang I paid the cab fee kannnn?… I was interviewed by two mans and I can say that they are not really friendly. I just answer the question sharply and of course, convincing. I was the first one on the list (eheh, because we come really early)
I expect nothing, as sales are not for me. I’m not the one that will ask twice when you did not want it. How come I can sell something. That’s it.
Btw, I got a call to go for a medical check up and offer letter. I turned down the offer… as I know myself.

A bank. Management trainee.
Interviewed by four beautiful women. Chinese. It was a nice interview. I’m pretty confidence to get it. But, I am not. I guess Allah is preparing the best for me :)

A bank. Graduate Programme.
The first phase is awkward. We are evaluated by group activities and hell yeah it is kind of unfair. I was upset as the interviewers judging four groups in one shot and choosing the most outstanding candidate for the next phase. I appreciate the fact that it is a unique structured interview. But mannn, there are some members who even do not want to hear opinions and would like to talk by themselves? Do you consider such ‘shine’ candidate as your future leaders? I hope it is a no.
